Whaling journal (1797 August 13-1799 May 8) kept by Almy, sailing out of New Bedford, Mass., on the Barclay, with two undated letters to Almy from his wife, Lydia, and manuscript extract from Lydia's journal, 1818. Includes typewritten transcript of the whaling journal with an introduction by Margaret Loring Thomas.
